Sketch Item Workshop is a web tool that turns your drawings and photos into item files for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Choose the appearance, name, stats and crafting ingredients for swords, pickaxes and food.

What you can make

Add new items

Export swords, pickaxes and food as .mcaddon files. Set a name, stats and a two-ingredient crafting recipe. Swords and pickaxes can also start with selected enchantments.

Reskin existing items

Export .mcpack files that replace the textures of existing swords, food and other supported items. Reskins retain the original item’s stats.

Make pixel art from a photo

Remove the paper background, crop the drawing and convert it to 16×16 or 32×32 pixels. Normal editing and previews run in your browser. Optional AI polish sends the cleaned drawing to OpenAI.

How it works

Prepare your drawing as a PNG or JPEG. A photo of a drawing on paper works too.
Adjust the background and crop, then check the pixel-art preview.
Choose the name, stats and recipe. Sign in to export the file.
Import it into Minecraft Bedrock Edition and activate the pack in your world. Craft new items using your selected ingredients.

One-time purchase

A ¥200 purchase removes the work-count limit for new exports on the same account. Includes the current swords, pickaxes, food and reskins.

AI polish

¥300 / 5 credits

Optional AI polish: one credit per saved candidate. AI works can be exported without buying normal access.

A free use is counted only when a new work’s file is successfully created. Editing, failed exports and downloads of completed works do not use the allowance.

No monthly fee or automatic renewal. Minecraft, Realms and internet costs are not included. Purchased access lasts while this service is provided. Future features and perpetual updates are not promised.

Supported devices and editions

Workshop browsers: Safari, Edge and Chrome. Use PNG or JPEG images; convert HEIC to JPEG first.
Minecraft edition: Exports files for Bedrock Edition. Java Edition is not supported. Minecraft is required separately.
iPhone and Windows: Works have been tested in Bedrock v26.60. On iPhone, tap the file's name once in Safari's Downloads list. In the Files app, touch and hold the file, then choose Open With → Minecraft.
iPad and Android: The exported files are for Bedrock, but in-game testing on these devices is still pending.
Nintendo Switch: Files cannot be imported directly. Join a world or Realm where a phone or PC player has installed the pack. Joining from a Switch has not yet been tested on a device.
